Memorial Weekend

Well this weekend was not quite as eventful as last weekend, but it was still awesome! Yesterday we hung at the house most of the day, watching movies since it was rainy outside. It was nice to relax. Then we rode into town once it cleared up with no plan on where we were going and ended up stopping by sports authority just to look around and then stopped for some ice cream :)

Today Drake had to work :( But once he got home we headed out to enjoy the evening. We stopped right around the corner on the way out so that Drake could take some pictures, he has not had much time to play around with it yet.

After our random stop...we went to dinner at Red Lobster. It was yummy! Kathryn, I had crab legs and thought of you :) Gotta love a random Monday date night! Now we are hanging with the dogs and getting settled and ready for the work week to start. I hope you guys had a great Memorial Day...thank you to those who are serving for our freedom. xoxo

Girlfriends

Last night we had a little girl's night out...Danielle wanted a night out since she has been at home with the babies the past few weeks. We all met up at The Oar House on the water for dinner.

Then we went to have a drink and listen to a local band, they were really good and were playing some good old school songs that we could sing along to :)

And we finished the night at Seville...

Overall it was a fun night. I love my girlfriends! ♥

I'm so happy it's the weekend! I can't wait for Drake to get off of work so we can enjoy some time together. ♥ Today on my lunch break I went to the mall and was able to get some cute stuff! Score! I got 3 tops, 2 pairs of shorts, and flipflops...and a pair of flipflops for Drake. I have to get him stuff if I ever plan on seeing him in anything new. He is so unselfish and doesn't ever think he needs anything, yet he totally agrees with me when I "need" a new pair of heels :) His old flipflops have been worn so long his feet have worn holes in the bottoms. It was time.

Now that I am home I have been hanging out with Cosmo and drumroll please....Annie Helm :) We are dogsitting while her momma is on a cruise. Just look at this cutie!

She loves playing with Cosmo! She is still not completely potty trained so I am watching her like a hawk and taking her out every 5 seconds to try and avoid as many accidents as possible.

Well...I am going to go force a workout in, so not in the mood today, but I know I will feel good after. Happy Memorial Day weekend xoxo

♥ Tomorrow is Friday...and then a 3-day weekend!! So excited.

♥ Nothing out of the ordinary around here this week...just enjoying the evenings with Drake. Just got finished working out and washing my car, it needed it bad!

♥ I had a dream last night that I had a baby. It was so weird, I saw my baby and we brought it home. Then I realized my body was already back to normal and the baby slept through the night it's first night home haha! Yea you know that's a dream.

♥ So sad Idol is over, now what will fill my Tuesday and Wednesday evenings?! At least I still have Kendra on Sunday and Real Housewives of New Jersey on Monday.

♥ We sold our jet ski last night. Bittersweet. We had a blast on it last summer, but it was more of a hassle than it was worth. We are thinking more along the lines of kayaks this year.

♥ Well, I am off to get some dinner, just wanted to stop by :) Have a good evening xoxo

up up and away

So my surprise worked this morning :) It was depending on the weather...and it was gorgeous. One of our friends has a little 2 seater plane and took Drake flying over to the beach and back. They were up for about an hour. Drake had no idea what we were doing until I pulled into the little airport. He just lit up once he saw what he was doing. He captured his excitement for you all to see :)

Overall it was a huge success...once we got home we looked up movie times and went to Shrek in 3D. Yay!! It was cute. This has been one of the best weekends I have had in a long time. We did so much and have enjoyed every minute. ♥

Downtown and Dinner

Once Drake got home this afternoon we headed downtown so that I could take maternity pictures of Amy and Jake...she only has 5 weeks left! :) We had a great time. After we took pictures we went down the road to Hub Staceys and grabbed dinner and talked forever! Jake is a big Yankees fan, so Drake was having a good 'ol time talking baseball. Amy and I were talking about baby stuff, they tried for a year and a half before she got pregnant. She is such a cute pregnant girl! Well, I had a great day, now off to bed ♥

more birthdays!

Happy Birthday to my amazing husband! :) I can't believe he is already 27. It's crazy to think about the fact that he was 21 when we met. I am so bummed for him because he is at work today :( 8-5 booo! But I told him we will celebrate tonight through tomorrow! I have a surprise planned for tomorrow and I hope it works out. ♥

So far today I went to Kaylee's 4th birthday party. It was so hot! Summer is definetely here! Here are Vivian and Hannah getting ready to head outside...

If dogs could talk...

Hello blog friends, this is Cosmo. Today was an awesome day...it was my 5th birthday! Daddy took me on an extra long walk before he left for work this morning, then I slept, then mommy got home from work and played games with me, and finally I got to go bye bye to Nanny and Pop's house. I got a yummy treat of cheese and steak...

and got a cool new toy. I even got to wear a party hat! oh yea

Overall my birthday was great! I just wish some of my friends like Twinkie, Gizmo, Booger, Cookie, and Daisy could have been here. Maybe next year...

The work week is almost over! yay ;) I am excited for this weekend, we have a couple birthday parties to attend (a 1yr old party and a 4yr old party, it's going to be crazy! haha) it is Cosmo and Drake's birthday weekend, and Shrek is coming out! I love those movies...I will be like a little kid in line with my gummy bears in my hand and my 3D glasses on my face. Overall, this week has been a success...and I am happy knowing that I have a 3-day weekend coming up for Memorial Day! I hope you guys are having a good week too! ♥

feeling good

Just wanted to write really quick to let you guys know that I have my appointment for the specialist set up. :) It is July 19th. Yea another two months...but I am fine with that. Another two months to hopefully get pregnant before having to pay who knows what for tests and treatments. It works out well too because it will take me until July to read all of the paperwork they sent me! :) For the first time in a while I really feel at peace about the whole baby thing. It's awesome.

In other exciting news, after I put Kathryn's bridal pictures on my facebook I had a couple book a maternity photoshoot for this weekend and just booked a wedding for June 5th! So excited and nervous :) I feel blessed to make a little extra money doing something that I really enjoy. I still have a long way to go, but the more I do it the better I will get. :)

fun fun

So since I wrote last time Kathryn came to town! :) She got here Thursday afternoon. That evening we spent the whole evening at the mall duh! haha Yesterday after work I took one of my old soccer players Alex with me to get her nails done. It was her graduation present, she will be going to prom tonight so I figured that would be one less thing she had to get herself. We had a good time catching up.

Today Kathryn and I got up and headed out to Ft. Pickens. She brought her wedding dress so that I could do some bridal portraits. When she got married, she only had studio pictures done and wanted some taken outside, so it gave me some more practice :)

Now I'm off to relax before a night out on the town tonight. ♥

A step forward

So I had my appointment this morning with my OBGYN. It went good overall. They just followed up to see how Clomid was, looked at Drake's test results, asked if I was ovulating, blah blah Then she went ahead and did an ultrasound on me, then went in vaginally to look at my ovaries. It was so weird because I have always seen ultrasound pictures because there is a baby on the way, but there was my ultrasound screen, of nothing. I was picturing myself getting it done and seeing my baby on the screen one day and it made me smile :) Anyways, they looked at my follicles and said they looked good so the next step is going to a specialist. I am excited that we are finally moving on to the next step instead of just taking a bigger dosage of clomid or something. I already know who I am going to see, Dr. Ripps. I have heard great things and my friend just went to him, they did a bunch of tests, figured out the problem, fixed it, and BAM! She is now expecting. Well, back to work xoxo

Kaylee and Kendall

Today after work I headed home to put on some bumming clothes and then Drake and I headed over to see Kaylee and Kendall for a little bit. Danielle does not look like she just had a baby! I fed Kendall while Drake had a tea party with Kaylee :) It was so sweet to watch. It was nice to visit with Danielle for a bit and I think she enjoyed some company.

After we left we ran a few errands and now we need to finish cleaning the house since Kathryn will be in town tomorrow! yay Gotta make dinner and get my workout in too...busy busy This week has flown by so that is awesome! I hope everyone's week is going well. xoxo
