All about e

Just some pictures of my little man from our evening time we got to spend together this week. I love the time change and that we still have some light when Drake gets home. Yesterday Easton ate his dinner on the porch and hung out in his chair.

He is trying so hard to talk :)

I love that he still puts his little feet together like he probably did in my belly.

After dinner, he went driving. :) He made sure to park next to daddy in the driveway. They both had a long hard day working. ha

Last night after Easton was sound asleep I got him and held him in the glider and he slept on my chest. I could have sat there all night. I shed a few tears, the overwhelming feeling of love just took over my emotions. I mean, how can you not fall in love with this kid?!

I took a couple pictures tonight while we were waiting for Drake to get home to use as his 6 month pictures.

I tried to take the blanket out for a few...yea right. He was loving the grass.

Well, I am outta here. Tomorrow is Friday!!!

• Spilled red drink all over my khakis on my way to work.

•Driving my students to their job sites and the bus breaks down in the middle of traffic.

•I burnt my lunch. And its not even 1:00.

Wait? Didn't I already publish this post? Me and my man clan on a beautiful day at the beach? :) I feel like that has been the theme of for all of my posts lately and I LOVE it! I can't tell where one day begins and the other one ends in my picture folder for March, it is almost all beach pictures. These are just for Stephanie...Drake and Easton with their matching board shorts. haha

Just a lot of Friday randomness here...

♥ Kylie headed back to Jacksonville today, but I enjoyed spending Monday and Tuesday evening with her. Monday was a family bowling night. So fun. Then Tuesday we went to my parents and we played, made t-shirts, and friendship bracelets. I am wearing my bracelet proud.

♥ A not so cool part of the week-Drake had a tooth pulled. He decided to finally get his back tooth pulled that chipped like a year ago after his face swelled up and he was in pain at the start of the week. :( He is all good now.

♥ Oh...if you have called or texted me in the last couple days, I am not ignoring you. My iphone decided to stop working. They are sending me a new one. I am lost. My phone had my calendar and everything on it. boo

♥ I'm sure I've mentioned this at some point in a past post, but I am so excited for the next couple weekends! My birthday party next weekend and then anniversary celebration the next! Lots of fun ahead. woo hoo!

♥ I got an hour hot stone massage last night. Thank you Drake!

♥ I got home and checked the mail today and there was a tiny pair of baby board shorts waiting on me. Geez Drake is a mess. :) He had to buy Easton a pair of hurley board shorts that match his! haha

♥ And finally a picture my dad took last week at the beach. Are you kidding me?! I am so lucky.

So long

So long Spring Break. It's been nice knowing you. :) I must say, I wouldn't change a thing about the past week. (Except having Drake home more) But I got to enjoy a hockey game, three beach trips, a play date, I got to see my best friend, and soaked in every extra second I got with Easton. I am SO thankful we had such wonderful weather most of the week. Today we went to the beach again, and everyone came! :) Me, Drake, Easton, my mom and dad, brother, his girlfriend, and Kylie! Kylie just got here for her spring break!

Having Kylie here will make going back to work a little better, knowing that I get to spend some time with her in the evening time. My sweet girl ♥

I could just sit and watch this all day :)

So much fun

Last night after Drake got off we went to Gallery Night downtown. It is a monthly event they have where they block off the streets and keep the shops open later and you just walk around and enjoy music and art. It was fun :)

We met up with my parents for a little bit, here I am showing off the hottest accessory this season-EB Wade :)

He was updating his facebook status letting his peeps know where he was :)

This morning we were up and on the go again! Drake had to work, so me and e went to the beach with my parents. It was another beautiful day! Man, I don't want to go back to work Monday! :(

remembering

Today I took Easton to visit his great-grandfather. I started tearing up just walking up to his grave sight. I miss my grandpa and it made me sad having Easton with me, wishing that my grandpa could have met him. I told Easton about his Pa-Pa and just sat at his beautiful grave sight at the top of the hill on a gorgeous day. We watched the planes fly over and I told Pa-Pa all about Easton. :)

Pure Bliss

At the start of Spring Break we had some cloudy and even rainy days. But those are long gone and the past couple days have been absolutely gorgeous. Yesterday I ran a few errands in the morning and then cleaned up the house a little before Kathryn got here. It was her first time meeting Easton :) We hung out for a while until Drake got home from work and then all went to dinner together. After that it was off to the gym and then home to get ready. We went downtown for a little while, just a low key night. We had fun...played skee ball, took pictures in the photo booth, and just enjoyed hanging out together.

Today we got up and headed to the beach...well after buying a bunch of beach gear from Target. I think Easton is set for this season-huge towel/blanket to roll around on, umbrella, and float. :) We met up with Jenn, Danielle, Rachel and their kids. Easton had fun but was not a huge fan of the water yet, still too cold.

Once we were done playing another friend Dawn met up with us and we ate lunch at Surf Burger. We stopped by and saw daddy at work on the way home and now it's nap time! So thankful that my job allows me so much time off with my sweet boy ♥ Have a great day!!!

Play Date & Picnic

What's cooler than being on spring break? When your best friends are on spring break because they are teachers too! We all met up this morning so the kids could have a play date. :) Ah, the quick glimpse at what life could be like if we were stay at home moms. Pure awesomeness. sigh.

After that Easton got a nap at home before heading to his 6 month check up. Everything went well. I love my doctor! (Her son is one of my students so we take good care of each other's kids.) The shots are always hard to do, but Easton did a good job. He even let me drag him to the grocery store after we left and he was hanging out in my carrier facing forward and kept smiling at the people we would walk past in the aisles. So sweet.

Once we were home it was time for dinner so we took the bumbo on the back porch and enjoyed the awesome weather together. Easton would eat bites in between watching crazy cosmo run around the yard barking at people walking by. You can see part of his cute little teeth here.

Well, I'm outta here. I hope this week drags by. My best friend gets in town tomorrow until Friday morning. Beach day with the girls planned Thursday! Kylie gets here Saturday for her Spring Break! Ahhh Can you tell I'm excited?! Life is good. xoxo

6 months old!

Easton,

Happy 1/2 birthday :) Let's see...where to start?! You are still sleeping through the night which is wonderful. You did have your 6 month growth spurt that caused you to be up during the night for 5 nights in a row, but then that was done. As far as your daily schedule, that has remained the same as far as times go. At your 9:00 feeding you have oatmeal and a bottle and at your 6:00 feeding you have a solid and a bottle. You have had sweet potatoes, carrots, and peaches so far. You liked your peaches :)

You have been cutting your bottom two teeth which means you have been chomping at anything you can get your hands on. :) You are rolling over like crazy, and when you get on your stomach you will push up and move your legs back and forth together but no crawling yet.

You are in a size 2 diaper, about 27'', weigh 17.5 pounds and wearing 12 month clothes! It hit me today how big you are getting...we went to Target together and I had to get you some 12 month sleepers because all of your 9 month ones are too tight. Well I couldn't find any...that's because for 12 month pjs I had to go to the section that had 2 piece pjs! :( No more baby sleepers?! wahhh

I am also bummed I have to take you Tuesday for your 6 month shots. boo :( The last couple times I just had a bottle ready and right after they stick you I pick you up and feed you and it calms you down.

You are so much better about fighting your naps since last month. The trick-your lovey blanket. You rub that thing all over your face and put yourself to sleep, which usually means I go check on you and your face is covered completely so I have to move it off. If I am holding you and you are going to sleep, you always scratch the couch behind me. Or I will hear you scratching the bumpers in your crib in the morning. Just one of those little things that makes me smile and I might forget if I don't write it down. You are such a happy baby and your personality is really coming through these days. When we go and get you out of your crib in the mornings, you don't just smile, you crack up-maybe at the way I look that early :) Understandable if you put it that way. haha

Time has sped up that much more since you were born, but I do my best to hang on tight to the wonderful moments I get to spend with you throughout the chaos of everyday life. I cannot fathom how I went on so long without you. You have taught me more about life and love than I can explain to you. I can't explain it, because I don't think I completely comprehend it. Being your mother is the biggest blessing and I am so thankful for you and your daddy. Our family. I love you so much!

Hockey

Yesterday at work my brother texted me asking if we wanted to go to the hockey game with him and his girlfriend, they had two extra tickets so all we had to do was show up! We had a good time...I wasn't sure how little e would do considering it was his bed time when we got there and it was really loud. We had awesome box seats so that was neat. He did really good, he just sat and watched in amazement at all of the things going on in front of him, there was no way you were getting his attention. :) It was a good way to start the weekend. ♥

Hump Day

Just stopping by to say hey and happy hump day! 2 more work days until Spring Break!!! I have no major plans except hang out with this dude...

I think he is excited to spend the week with me too! ;) We went to the mall together when I picked him up after work and got a few things including this hat for the beach. Gotta gear up for beach season! Not only did we stop by the mall, but we went and saw daddy at work. Easton loved the wind chimes. Then it was off to the gym and now I'm ready to crash. Great day with great weather!

Well the bad weather we had yesterday rolled through and today was gorgeous! Not only did the bad weather come and go...but so did the weekend! How is it already Sunday night?! :( I will suck it up, because I have 5 work days and then I am on Spring Break! woo hoo!

Today was a great day with D&E, we got up and went on a family run. Cosmo was loving life. Then we got showered while Easton napped and headed into town. We went by TJ Maxx and got a couple things, ate lunch at 5 guys, and then stopped at the park. I am so thankful to have such a happy baby.

Rain and Reps

Well, it is March which means Drake is now working every Saturday until June. :( But he did get off for our Anniversary, so I am excited about that! It was raining all day, which was a perfect excuse to just spend a lazy day inside with my other man. ♥ We played all day! At one point we were laying in my bed playing and then he started getting tired so I just cuddled with him and had his lullabies playing and just enjoyed him asleep right next to me for his nap. When he woke up he just laid there staring at me and was rubbing my cheeks, grabbing my nose and mouth, and just trying to figure it all out with those sweet little hands. It was a sweet moment, just enjoying time with my baby on a quiet rainy day and soaking in every second. :)

Once Drake got home we headed up to the gym. One of the perks of being friends with the manager...you can meet up after hours and have the whole gym to yourself and take the kids to hang out.
