Eggs, Easter, and Emmy is 3!!

We have been busy with Easter and fun activities these last couple weeks. Easton loves all of his STEAM activities at school, including this one. They had to build a shelter for an egg and the local power company came and dropped them from way up in their trucks to see if it could survive. :)

Then...cue the emotions...my baby turned 3! 

Sweet Emmy, 

I have loved watching you grow and see your personality really start to come out. You are so funny, animated, stubborn, and loving. You are loving gymnastics, and love to dance and sing around the house. You love playing sports, jumping, and swinging with bro bro, but then love putting on your princess shoes and painting your nails too. 

We had so much fun celebrating you in Disney this year...but we did have the day off of work/school on your actual birthday for Good Friday, so we had fun playing at Chuckie Cheese. 

You love being outside and can entertain yourself for hours...you are just so creative and have such a big imagination. You complete our family and I am so excited to see what this year holds for you. You get to start activities and you will be starting K3 school in the fall. We all love you so much Emmy!!

For Easter weekend, we also enjoyed dying eggs with friends, going to a local Easter egg hunt, and church and the beach on Sunday. 

Exciting news for Easton...he made the track team. I am so excited for him :) It is the first thing that he actually had to earn a spot for with athletics so far. I can't wait to watch his meet! 

Disney and Destin

Ahhh what a great month it has been! We started the month off at Disney World!

It was awesome! Everything went smooth, the kids had a blast, and the weather was great. We drove to Orlando most of the first day, and went straight to Disney Springs where Emerson had an appointment at the Bibbiti Boppiti Boutique. She loved being a princess and thought she was so cool when she was done :) Walking around, twirling and showing off her new look. 

Then we grabbed dinner, went to get checked in and rest up for the start of the parks the next day. We started at Magic Kingdom. This was our busiest day...the biggest park, so we went back in the middle of the day and swam and rested before heading back in the evening and staying until fireworks. Easton was not a fan of Splash Mountain...really any big rides. He loved simulators and 3D shows the most. Emerson loved hugging characters and every ride she was able to do. 

The next day we went to Epcot. Another awesome day...the kids ate their weight in popcorn and popsicles, Easton loved Soaring and Emerson go to meet Ana and Elsa! :)

Then, our last day we went to Hollywood Studios. Fun rides, shows, and a perfect way to end the trip. We went to the Sugar Factory that night...it was my 35th birthday. Such a great way to spend a birthday!! 

 Overall, the trip went really smooth...I am so thankful my parents were able to go with us and I loved watching the kids and the excitement in their eyes.

When we got back, we jumped back to school, work, baseball, and Emerson started gymnastics! 

Then, it was time for us to go to Destin to celebrate our 12th wedding anniversary. Always a great weekend! Shopping, pool, date night, sleep in, brunch and head home :) 

Disney and Destin did not disappoint!
