Sleepover

Last night Vivian came and stayed the night with us so that her parents could have one more date night before Dean gets here :) We played outside, went for a walk to the park, she got a bath, and we read books before bed. She is such a sweet little girl and LOVED cosmo.








This morning I was up early and had to go coach two soccer games. Now I am home, eagerly awaiting Drake getting home from work later this afternoon. His store is setting a record this month for sales, so he is getting a bonus :) We are planning to take some of the money and enjoy a little vacation somewhere this summer. One more with just the two of us :) Happy Saturday!!

Week 20

Holy Week 20?! I am halfway there! Halfway home to meeting our baby boy in September! I love being pregnant! :) I am feeling him everyday and wonder what he will look like. This week was very exciting, we found out what we were having, had our gender reveal party, and then went and started our registry at Target. Most things we knew exactly what we wanted...but when you get in the aisles with diapers, bottles, wipes, etc. it was very overwhelming as to what we should scan. I also signed us up for Lamaze class that we will start in June :) My stomach has officially exploded! Look at that thing, it's crazy that I am looking at me...and not me in the motherhood store with a fake belly under my shirt. It is also crazy how fast the weeks go by and it is already time to find out what Easton is up to for the week. Well, I am off, thanks for stopping by! :)

*If you're having a boy, (I am, I am! :)) his testicles have begun their descent from the abdomen to their ultimate destination — the scrotum. And while your baby is definitely getting bigger (weighing in at about ten ounces and measuring six and a half inches), there's still plenty of growing room in there, which allows him to twist and turn (and allows you to feel his acrobatics!). Baby's digestive system is busy creating meconium (a tarry black substance made of swallowed amniotic fluid, digestive secretion and dead cells), which will fill the first diaper after birth.

Just checking in :) I had a good 3 day weekend...my dad is back home! Saturday I went to Kendall's first birthday party and then Drake and I hung at the house once he was home from work and had a movie night. We watched Megamind :) Yesterday we spent most of our time outside since it was so nice, we took Cosmo to the dog park and met up with my parents and ate at Crabs on the beach and then just sat on the beach during the evening time. So nice! Here we are at the dog park...

Gender Reveal Party!

I am pooped! Today was a great day with great friends. I spent all day cleaning the house and getting the decorations in place for our party. It did not feel the same without my dad being there, but he is doing much better and has hopes of coming home tomorrow if things go well! :) I of course told him before the party since he couldn't come, and he wanted me to have the best party since he knew how long I have been wanting to do this. Week 19 and Ultrasound!

Happy Hump Day! I am now 19 weeks pregnant! (as of yesterday) This morning we had our appointment and the baby did cooperate. :) It definetely made it sink in more. It was the coolest moment by far! Drake and I both teared up...the baby was measured all around-the brain, ventricles, etc. so we got to watch it moving around for a while. So cool! It weighs 11 ounces and had 131 BPM. Everything was looking good. I will never forget sharing that moment with Drake this morning. I love this baby so much. ♥ This week has been good overall. As far as symptoms I continue to have the nasal congestion like crazy. I do have the good 'ol crazy dreams every night, they can get pretty interesting. I have had about 4 that relate to the baby. Hmmm, oh I have felt the baby moving a little more and more, I mainly feel it at night when I lay in bed. Drake has tried to feel it but no luck yet. I think that is all for now. Have a great day!

Wives Tales

With the gender being determined tomorrow (well hopefully! I get nervous about the baby being stingy and hiding from us. ha) I have been surrounded by wives tales and what people think I am having based on them. Obviously you can't base anything on them, but it is fun to play along.

still alive

Hey! So just like my last blog promised, last week was really busy. I ended up getting a good amount accomplished. Saturday I went to Jenn's baby shower first thing...

and then had to head out and shoot a wedding. Everything went well...I stress with weddings! It's just the biggest day of someones life you need to capture :) I was relieved and tired by the time I left. I was on my feet shooting from 12-9!

Yesterday Drake and I relaxed. We took Cosmo on a walk, went to the beach, stopped by Sams, went to my parents, and sat under the pergola. It was a nice day off together. Now on to another week...it's off to a good start. Lots to do before Friday :) And I am sooo anxious for Wednesday!!! The big ultrasound woo hoo!! Ok, I am off to try and be productive. Headless Chicken

First off congrats to Josey for getting her BFP this month! I am so happy for her. :) This week has been crazy busy for me... an overall stressful week at work, spending time just taking care of stuff around the house that never feels like we make any progress, we got new carpet in the bedroom-yay!, I had soccer Tuesday and tonight and a photo shoot yesterday after work.

I just feel like the evenings fly by and I hate that. I am shooting a wedding all day Saturday but once Sunday gets here it is smooth sailing! :) My day off with the coolest guy in the world, finding out the gender of the baby next week, our party, and a 4 day work week. :) I think I can, I think I can...

Week 18

Hey! Today marks week 18 of my pregnancy. I have enjoyed eating Alpha Bits cereal this week :) So random...but I was sitting there one day and they randomly crossed my mind. I have not eaten them since I was a kid, but I wanted some so bad! So I got a box on my next grocery store trip and they have not let me down. I have been feeling the baby a little more each day and cannot wait until Drake can feel him/her. 8 days until we know if it is a him or her! Everything is still going smooth and I am so thankful for that. I have been a little more achy when I get up in the mornings...more stiff and my lower back is already starting to feel a little different. Also, when I get up to go to the bathroom at night, it takes me longer to get back to sleep. eh I think that is anything new this week. :)

ps-I threw on my stuff so drake could grab a picture before he left for work, but please know that I did fix the wrinkle situation in my shorts before I went into public :)
