Week 25

25 weeks down, 15 to go! Oh my gosh, I have 15 weeks until I will have a baby in my house?! I have yet to do anything for a nursery...I do know what I plan on doing. Summer projects will be fun :) I have felt good this past week, I don't think I have had any symptoms. I can tell that this summer will be VERY hot! Pregnant with Florida heat and oh boy the humidity.

I booked our maternity pictures...we will be taking them in July. I am excited for that!

I cannot even tell you how many Chick-Fil-A yogurt parfaits I have eaten this week. Yum! Tonight we have to do a grocery run and I plan on picking up yogurt, strawberries, and granola so that I can make my own supply. :) I think that is all for this week. ♥

Memorial day

Happy Memorial Day! Today was another hot sunny day here so we had the family over to hang out and eat lunch. We played family fued on the wii, ate lunch, and finished with a dip in the pool. It was a great afternoon with my family!

After that I went to do a photoshoot and came home...now time to unwind and get ready for a 4 day work week! yay

Sunday Funday

Today was a great day. This morning we took Cosmo to the dog park and the squirrels were out in full swing today, so Cosmo got to run after them the whole time we were there, and she met some new friends :)

Once we got home we got in the pool and just relaxed for a while, it felt awesome! :) Drake and I were just floating around and talking with the radio playing in the background. It doesn't get much better.

Cosmo is not a fan, but I had to get a picture of her swimming in mid air while I held her above the water. haha

After we came in we got ready and walked across to Chris and Emily's house for dinner.

It was a good dinner, and a good day overall. I am loving the warm weather and being outside so much right now! Have a great evening. ♥

3 day weekend!

I am so excited for this 3 day weekend! This morning I slept in and then headed into town and went by the bank and Target. I got some summer sandals and a couple more maternity things. After that I got home and floated around in the pool for a bit :) and then headed out to Fort Pickens for a photo shoot. I was so excited because they wanted some "intimate" pictures on the beach. I love when I get to do something I have not done yet. They were such and awesome couple.

After that I headed straight to meet up with the gang for dinner at Hemingways. It was fun! :)

Now off to bed...Drake and I have the next 2 days off together! So excited!!

So I have now officially cried at a commercial. I think I am getting payback for always making fun of my mom for crying at things. :) I am still just constantly blown away at the fact that I am pregnant and will get the opportunity to be a mom in just a couple months. If you are still trying, you WILL get your miracle!

Week 24

I am 6 months pregnant!! I feel great overall and am enjoying everyday. I went in for a check-up this week and everything looked good-my blood pressure, weight, Easton's heartbeat, my stomach measurement, sugars and proteins...now I have to make my appointment for the good 'ol glucose test :( As you know I have my weird throw-up phobia, so once I heard a few people say that they couldn't keep the stuff down that was enough to freak me out. I will have some anxiety going in to drink that nasty stuff but I just gotta get it over with. blah

Overall I feel like a broken record each week because I have had consistent things happening. Congestion-check. vivid dreams-check. heartburn-check. I did see movement from the outside this week when Easton was moving around in there. :) That was neat to watch. I think that is about it for this week, I am just so thankful and blessed with this pregnancy so far. I have a lot of work to do this summer before he gets here!

Birthday Boy

Happy 28th Birthday Drake! :) I hope today has been fun for my hubby...I'm glad that it fell on his one day off for the week! After next week, he will be back to normal hours yay! Yesterday while he was at work I went and did all of his birthday shopping and then we made it a movie night last night. Today he had some gifts to open and we had cake. When I stopped by Target yesterday I planned on grabbing one of there already made cakes and they had hamburger cakes as one of the options. So much cooler than any of the other choices with the plain old flowers on them so I had to grab it. Drake loves burgers and cake...perfect. It was funny when I asked the lady to write happy birthday Drake on the top and she asked about the little boy it was for. haha ummm, it's actually for my husband who is turning 28. Is that not normal? :)

Then we played golf with my parents again...we had such a good time last week, that is what Drake wanted to do for the afternoon.

Once we got home we took a dip in our new pool! :) Yes, we have a redneck pool now. But I could care less about how it looks and if it will hold strong for us through this summer when I am very hot and pregnant it will be worth every penny. Summer break is only a couple weeks away for me and I know I will spend many afternoons floating around with my radio playing while I wait for Drake to get home from work.

Well...now we are off to get dinner, Drake's choice. I think he decided on going up the road to Ruby Tuesday for their salad bar. I hope you all have a great week!!!

Time for another weekend! Yay! It is off to a good start...today at work we took the kids on a trip to the zoo and to eat lunch. Yea, I love my job. Then I got home and my necklace I ordered from etsy was here...


Then I headed to do a shoot of my friend Meghan and her husband at Ft. pickens...

Now time to crash. :) Drake's birthday is this weekend too! He will be 28 on Sunday. It's going to be a great weekend! xoxo

Can't wait

I am so excited about some random things coming up in the near future :)

I only have 16 days left of school and then it is time for summer break...which means...Kylie will be here! :)

Drake and I booked our tickets to have one more trip with just the two of us. We are going to Miami this summer. South Beach, a suite on the water, a Marlins game...It's going to be awesome!

Just found out Drake's mom, brother, and fiance are coming to stay with us for Thanksgiving. Yay!

AND I am another day closer to seeing baby Easton ♥ I can't wait.

Week 23

I am 23 weeks pregnant :) Easton is moving all around in there and I love it! The heartburn has been kickin this week. Still congested, I guess that will stick with me until the end, but thats ok. I have had nightly vivid dreams, last nights had Easton in it :) It felt real. I can't wait until he is here! Hmmm I still have some random cravings, nothing consistent. The other day I had to get some syrup so I could make chocolate milk. It never tasted so good. :)

I went to the ultrasound tech school this afternoon and it was overall a bummer. The girls are still learning and Easton was facing towards my spine so they couldn't get any face shots. :( It was still good to see him in there moving and to know his heart is still beating and he is doing good. I have my regular OB appointment Wednesday, I think this one will just be a quick check up. I think that is all for this week. Have a good day!

Beginning this week, he'll start to pack on the pounds (which means you will too!) and by month's end he'll be double the weight he is now (though you won't be — whew!). But once those fat deposits settle in, he'll become less transparent.*

Best day of the week

Yep...Sundays. My one day a week that I have off with my other half ♥ Only a couple more weeks and he will be back to having 2 days off a week. This morning we got up and took Cosmo on a walk and then headed into town to get some stuff from the mall. I got a couple pairs of maternity shorts that I can wear the heck out of this summer and finally got a nursing bra. I was being stingy, but I couldn't go any longer with my old ones! I got measured and I had to get a D cup! Weird. Then we got home and my parents came to meet us so we could head out and play golf :) It was such a beautiful day! It took some getting used to swinging with my belly, but I actually played really well so I was excited. We had fun.

Once we got home I put dinner in the oven, got showered, and now am relaxing until time for bed. It has been a good weekend.

Another week down

Yay it's Friday! My summer break is getting closer and closer :) Only 18 more days with the kiddos. Of course with all of the budget issues these days, I will be playing the waiting game to find out if I will be able to come back next year or not. Yea, that's not stressful at all, especially knowing I will need money for diapers and wipes soon. I know God will take care of us and there is nothing I can do at this point, I had good evaluations and know I did my best. I just hope it works out because I love what I am dong this year! Anyways...this week has been good overall. Wednesday we went to see the newest addition to the Ott's clan. Dean was such a cutie.

After visiting for a bit, we went to dinner with Joe and Rachel, it was a good evening. Yesterday I had soccer after work and now I am home and about to go do a shoot. So excited for the weekend ahead! :)
