Lunch Date

Today has been a good day. Drake is working, but Easton and I started the day with a walk around the neighborhood and then we got a call from daddy asking if we wanted to come eat lunch with him. :) One of his landscapers got him a gift card to Logan's Steakhouse for Christmas so we decided to go enjoy a free meal. Easton was good the whole time. ♥

Easton took this picture of daddy all by himself :) While we were waiting on our food Drake and Easton would not stop smiling at each other. I love my boys so much! I am so proud of Drake, he gets up in the middle of the night with Easton and feeds him (although we did have another through the night last night yay!) After he feeds him about 4:00 he stays up and goes to the gym right when they open at 4:30 and works out before heading to work a full day. As soon as he gets home he takes a quick shower and then he is straight to the floor to play with Easton until he goes to bed and does it all again the next day. I love him ♥

After we got to spend some time with Drake I finished my shopping with Easton. I am in love with my baby bjorn! I was so in love with my sling when he was small enough to lay in it, but now that he has to sit up in a sling, it is still a good bit of work to hold him up, so I busted out the bjorn to give it a try and it was awesome. Easton just loves looking around at everything around him. Geez do I have enough straps attached to my body here?! haha

Now we are back home and he is napping, I put on some pjs and Drake will be home soon! 4 more days!

Just stopping by to say hey :) My break is going awesome. I am so thankful to have a job where I work 180 days a year! It does not feel like it is about to be Christmas. I need to go look at some Christmas lights or something. Maybe the fact that it's 70 degrees outside has something to do with that issue :)

Last night Drake and I went to Danielle's 30th birthday party that had a redneck/white trash theme :) I wore some camo and threw in some curlers and Drake wore overalls with a wife beater. It felt like we were back in college together being out for the night at a house party and hanging out in the garage :) Even when Drake is supposed to look trashy he is a hottie ♥ We had such a good time with our awesome friends!

We stayed for a few hours and then came on home. Today we got our grocery shopping done and hung out at the house watching Christmas movies ♥ I can't believe Christmas is in a week! yay!!

Here we go!

It's officially Christmas break! :) Today was a half day at work that consisted of watching a Christmas movie, making cupcakes, and going to the snow jam. After that I was off to do a photo shoot...I so wish I could show you a preview, but it was a boudoir session and they are for only me and one other person to see. :)

After that I picked up my little man from my parents and headed home to get ready. Drake got off of work, and we headed to Chase and Summer's house. We grilled out and talked and the kids played :) Their backyard was amazing! House on the water with a pool and gazebo area. Beautiful. We always have a good time with them. Summer is a stay at home mom and I got excited because we were talking about next summer when I am off of work hanging out in the pool with the kids while the boys are at work. :)

Happy as a clam

This weekend has been great! It has been so nice to have Drake home the whole weekend so that we could enjoy some family time. Yesterday morning I did have a shoot, but I scheduled it super early so I could get home.

It felt pretty good... I had Easton ready for the day, did a photo shoot, oh and don't forget...grabbed some Chick-Fil-A chicken minis (yum!) and got back home all before 10:00. Once I got home and cleaned up, we headed to the mall again and did some damage. :) It was so crowded! Not that I expected anything different, but Saturday at the mall during Christmas time with your stroller can be a little crazy.

After that we came home and my parents, brother, and Rose came over for the evening. We ate dinner, watched the Heisman presentation, and played a board game. LOVE family time!

And finally today we are doing nothing! I could (and should) do laundry and I could get caught up on some editing, but I'm not. :) Just going to enjoy my time with Drake and little e. I took a couple pictures of Easton to celebrate his 3 months of being awesome :) Sorry, I am THAT mom....Enjoy!

3 months

Happy 3 months Easton! Let's see...what has happened this month? You had a handful of "firsts" happen... you had your first trip to the beach, met your cousin Kylie for the first time, and you had your first Thanksgiving where you met your Uncle Kyle and Aunt Melissa. :) We have had a lot of fun! I love looking at your monthly pictures beside one another and looking at the changes in you.

You are such a handsome little man. You weigh 13.5 lbs and are 25'' long. You are wearing 3-6 month clothes right now. This month what sticks out to me is how much more aware you are of the things around you. If we are out somewhere you want to be propped up so you can look around at everything. And that's just what you do! Look around with your (still a little wobbly) head. :)

I was hoping to write that you sleep all night on this update, but you are really close! :) You are up once during the night, but that one feeding is getting later and later. You go to bed at 9:00 and used to wake up about 1:00 for your middle of the night feeding, but now you are waking up about 4:00. Our goal is to make it to 6:00 :)

You are smiling SO much these days and we have had a couple giggles out of you. When you smile you open your mouth really wide and move your tongue like you are trying to laugh, it's so cute. When I go to get you out of your crib in the morning you just give me the biggest grin and I can't think of a better way to start my day. ♥

I am so excited that we are about to celebrate your first Christmas! I finally get to go buy a "Baby's First Christmas" ornament to put on our tree this year :) I love you so much baby boy and being your mom is the best gift I've ever received.

Simply Having a Wonderful Christmas Time :)

So, I have a full weekend with my boys and I am so excited! No work for Drake tomorrow (finally) and I only have 1 shoot which I scheduled for the morning so I can have the rest of the day to play!

After a good day at work today me, Drake, and Easton headed out to do some Christmas shopping. Only a couple things left to buy now. Yay! On the way home we grabbed a redbox movie and dinner, I can't tell you how many Friday nights end up with a comfy movie night in-I love it! But we will watch it soon when Easton is to bed for the night, because we have been too busy playing with him.

I grabbed some pictures of my boys playing by the Christmas tree :) Easton is so lucky... he has the best daddy in the whole world ♥

Thought Vomit Thursday...let's go!

* I have officially been the worst blogger ever lately. It is crazy how busy I have been. This past weekend I had a couple shoots...lots of family shoots for Christmas cards...but I also did some senior pictures for one of my TV Production kids. :) It was nice to have a shoot where I did not have to stand behind the camera and make weird noises and act silly to get her attention like I have to do with the little ones. haha

*We met up and rode together downtown and got to hang out for a while. That is the part I love about my job, when I can form relationships with the students outside of the classroom and be someone that they can come to for anything.

*I have so many stinkin pictures on my cell phone and I am a little disappointed at my laziness. boo. I have a nice new camera and I am mainly using it for my shoots and just snapping quick pictures on my phone because it is quick and easy. But I am going to challenge myself to grab my big camera when heading out with all of the other 500 things for the diaper bag. :)

*I handled going back to work so well...until the other day. My first day with tears. Over a month after going back to work?! It was just one of those days. Easton was giving me so many smiles all morning and it was so hard to leave him. Jenn reminded me what I have to look forward to when he gets older and cries while saying, "no mommy don't go." Geez thanks a lot Jenn :)

*I work next week and then I have 2 weeks off for Christmas Break! woo hoo!!!

*I have so many things to do for Christmas stuff! My shopping has only begun and I have my Christmas cards sitting on the counter waiting to be addressed. Oh, Christmas cards ♥ I love getting them in my mailbox this time of year!

Yay for Saturday!

Hey! I have not been on here much this week, just at the 'ol grind at work and busy hanging out with my family in the evening time. Today has been a good day, I started the day with a photo shoot of the Otts crew. I love them so much!





After we were done I came home and hung out with Easton (Drake is working all day again. :( Stupid extended holiday hours right now) Easton got to watch his first Christmas Parade. The cool part...it came by the road right outside our backyard fence. So we just popped across the street. Jenn and Ronnie brought the kids and we just hung out. ♥
