Highlights from the week

*Went to chuck-e-cheese  

*Had a cousin pool day

*ran errands

*played glow in the dark putt-putt

*had gymnastics

*had a play date with Dean and Vivian

*went to story time at the library 

*cuddled with my baby in bed

 *had an evening family beach trip

3 more weeks of summer break. Daddy will be in Gainseville all this week for work :( We will miss him, but SO thankful his job is going good for him and he is enjoying it. Have a good week!

hot, humid and happy

We had another good week! We had a beach day with Easton's friends from the neighborhood on Tuesday. Easton loves playing with Mathew and Alex. :)

Wednesday I had to be up and went into work to meet with the athletic director for some things for the golf team. I am excited to coach them this year. I know this year will be all new to me with a lot of questions and figuring things out as far as making schedules and hosting tournaments, but after this year it will be a sweet gig to have! Work a couple months but get paid all year for it! That evening, I had a family shoot at the beach, so Wednesday was a good productive work day overall. 

Thursday we were up and went to the blueberry farm to pick blueberry's with the fam. 

Even though we went early, it was still so hot and humid so after we were done picking, we went swimming for a while. :)

And of course Thursday means gymnastics! It has been really good overall-Easton asks about going throughout the week. When he has a good day listening and following directions (which has been every time but 1) he gets an icee after class. 

We also went to the park this week. Easton is going through a major competitive phase...if he doesn't get 1st place, he gets SO frustrated. We had fun doing some obstacle courses since we had the park to ourselves, but on the last sprint in-daddy won and it was all over! 

Friday we actually had nothing planned for once, but it unexpectedly turned into having Kylie for the day! Rose called asking if I wanted to get her because Georgia was sick and they were just going to be home all day. So I went and got Kylie and we met up with my parents at Sam's Fun City. We had a great day! We did laser tag and arcade games for hours! 

 We went to Newks for lunch, ♥ 

 And then went to hobby lobby to let Kylie show us art supplies she was wanting for her birthday in a couple weeks-she will be 12 this year! 

Yesterday we spent all day on the boat with Tyler and Whitney...it was a great day! 

Wrapping up our week today with church, some bumming around and cleaning. Have a good week! xoxo

half full

I just randomly went and counted the days, and today marks the exact half-way point of our summer break. I'm tempted to look at the glass half empty...but it's still half full! :) 

We had a good 3-day weekend with daddy! Friday we went downtown and parked the car and just walked around some of the different shops and stopped for some gelato. 

 After we left downtown, we headed to the golf course to play 9 holes. Easton loved it :) 

Saturday we went to the Lynch house for the 4th. We were there all afternoon and evening. Swimming, riding around in the golf cart, eating too much food and ending with fireworks. This was the first year Easton enjoyed fireworks, so that was really nice...he stayed up past his bedtime and had a fun day with a lot of his friends :) 

Yesterday was an uneventful day after being so worn out from Friday and Saturday. We took care of some cleaning and did the grocery shopping before watching the World Cup! It was a great weekend overall. 

Easton and I have some plans set for this week...so far today we went in town to the park and went bowling again.

Drake has tomorrow off so I am very excited for a 3 day weekend! Even though I'm on break, I look forward to our time with the 3 of us the most. 

Yesterday we had a beach day with friends :) It was the first time we have been this year with a group. Normally I am Easton's one person to play with-poor guy :) So I don't even take a chair, I am just in the water or doing whatever he is doing. Well yesterday was great! He was playing with his friends and wasn't tempted to go out far because they were all in the same spot and I got to sit on the beach and relax and talk to Rachel and Danielle while the kids played. So nice! And I am a lobster today because we ended up staying a little longer than we normally would. 

After that my parents watched Easton for a couple hours while I had some "me" time. I am so appreciative of those couple hours each week for me to do a couple things by myself. I went and got a mani/pedi, made a Target/TJ Maxx run and got a sweet tea from Chick-Fil-A before heading to get him. ♥ 

I can't believe it is already July. This month should be a fun one! We have some get togethers planned and have a weekend trip to New Orleans booked. Have a happy 4th of July this weekend! xoxo

Summer break is flying by. But I can finally enjoy the rest of the break without any stress about my job situation. So, my principal called this morning and even though they took the transition program away that I was teaching, there was movement around the county and now our high school will house a new ESE unit. I was not interested in the new unit, but another teacher was...so they are transitioning her there and I will get the one she had. {The class I was hoping for} I will actually be able to do some similar things I did with my old class, I renewed my CDL license, so I plan to still drive the bus and do some community outings. But now, instead of being in a portable, I have a newer classroom with a full kitchen, washer, dryer, ect. in it to work on independent living skills with the kids :) SO, I officially have my TV class, my new ESE class and then will coach girl's golf after school. The golf season will start when school does and end at the end of October. I am excited and so thankful that everything worked out in the end! 

Lately, Easton and I have been on the go like usual. He has been obsessed with asking me the time lately, I have no idea why, but it is the cutest thing ever. So, I got him a minion watch at Target and he loves it! He is looking like such a big boy :(

 Friday night Gina and I had a girl's night out to gallery night. We ate at Jacos and walked around downtown. We had a fun night! 

 Yesterday we went to church and I am thrilled that Easton will just go in and play with no issues anymore. We really like the church and are excited to hopefully finally get consistent with going. It has been such an up and down in the past and I couldn't really focus because Easton had a hard time, but he did great the last 2 times. yay! 

 After church, we went to lunch together and enjoyed a relaxing afternoon. 

Daddy is back to work today :( So we are about to pack in the park, bowling and plan to see inside out after lunch! :) Ready for a fun filled week with my buddy.
