spring into summer

We have been wrapping up spring activities and gearing up for summer! Hard to believe Easton is almost done with 1st grade. He has had a great year. Here are some things we have been up to since last month:

Easton was so excited that there were free goodies on some of the holes when we went. He cracks me up with his bargain hunting and loving some free stuff!

Drake competed in the spring beach brawl with a 3 man team. It was fun to go cheer him on :) Now, we have decided to do a 2 man, 2 woman team at the fall competition in September. So excited and nervous to do it!

Emmy had her 3 year old check up. She is doing awesome :) We are headed to a pediatric dermatologist next month to look at her birth mark and some other spots she has been dealing with lately. 

Easton finished up his first year of coach pitch. My sweet boy ♥ 

LOTS of birthday parties lately...

Easton had his first grade play. It was the cutest thing ever. He was a baseball player and was so nervous up there singing but did a great job.

more birthday parties...

kicking off the weekend with ice cream. Emerson wants to wear her "nastics" leotards everyday. 

We had Easton's track meet. I was so excited and proud out there. His whole class came out at one point, holding signs and chanting, "Go Easton, Go Easton!" It was so neat. 

 oh and did I mention birthday parties? :)

 Goodness I love these two so much! Looking forward to another summer break spending a ton of time with them. We already plan to do golf, flag football, surf camp, VBS, and continue gymnastics, mixed in with beach and pool time of course. 

 Water day at school...

 Easton went out on the boat with his friend Brayden. Kind of weird to just send him off with a friend for the day. He had a blast!

 Then that night we had a couple's night out with our gym friends. Dinner and downtown :)

 We also replaced our trampoline. The other one was starting to fall apart, it has been the kids favorite thing to do at home these past years. Tons of memories. So now we have a new, bigger one to play even more on. 

Ready to wrap up a great school year and head into summer 2019! 

Eggs, Easter, and Emmy is 3!!

We have been busy with Easter and fun activities these last couple weeks. Easton loves all of his STEAM activities at school, including this one. They had to build a shelter for an egg and the local power company came and dropped them from way up in their trucks to see if it could survive. :)

Then...cue the emotions...my baby turned 3! 

Sweet Emmy, 

I have loved watching you grow and see your personality really start to come out. You are so funny, animated, stubborn, and loving. You are loving gymnastics, and love to dance and sing around the house. You love playing sports, jumping, and swinging with bro bro, but then love putting on your princess shoes and painting your nails too. 

We had so much fun celebrating you in Disney this year...but we did have the day off of work/school on your actual birthday for Good Friday, so we had fun playing at Chuckie Cheese. 

You love being outside and can entertain yourself for hours...you are just so creative and have such a big imagination. You complete our family and I am so excited to see what this year holds for you. You get to start activities and you will be starting K3 school in the fall. We all love you so much Emmy!!

For Easter weekend, we also enjoyed dying eggs with friends, going to a local Easter egg hunt, and church and the beach on Sunday. 

Exciting news for Easton...he made the track team. I am so excited for him :) It is the first thing that he actually had to earn a spot for with athletics so far. I can't wait to watch his meet!
