Week 22

Happy Hump Day! I am now 22 weeks pregnant. Yep...still feels crazy to even say I am pregnant. Things are rolling along smoothly. This week I still have my congestion and some heartburn here and there but that is about it with symptoms. So thankful! I am still able to go to the gym and have energy to do things. I went to kick boxing yesterday and it felt great, even though I am more limited on my twisting and such.

One word of advice:put sunscreen on your belly button! :) So I decided to wear a 2 piece to the beach the other day to try and get some sun on my belly and put sunscreen all over, but neglected to go into the depths of my belly button. It has not popped out yet but it making its way to the surface. (I had a very extreme black hole of a belly button before so it never saw anything) Anyways...I got some nice sun everywhere and then there is my belly button- red as a cherry and ouch it hurts. Really random but it made me laugh.

Next Monday I am scheduled to see Easton again! So excited...I am going to a local ultrasound tech school to be a volunteer haha Hey, anything that allows me to see my baby is awesome in my book. Welp...I think that is it, Have a great week!

*Watch what you say -- baby is now able to hear outside noise from down in the womb. Studies show that baby finds gentle music and your own voice most soothing. Nipples are starting to sprout, and that little face is fully formed. And, baby's starting to settle into sleep cycles, snoozing about 12 to 14 hours a day. It shouldn't be hard to figure out when -- just pay attention to those kicks as they start and stop*

Had a GREAT day at the beach with Drake, mom, dad, my brother, and his girlfriend. I ♥ beach days! :)

Happy Saturday! I have not written in a few days. Since Tuesday I have been trying to get caught up in my life and going to the gym. Yesterday was a great Friday! After work I met up with my mom for an early Mother's Day Outing. We went and got pedicures together and then went to get Hibachi for dinner. It was nice to just relax and talk with my momma for the evening. She deserves more than I could ever give her for being such a great mom! ♥

This morning I am taking care of things around the house and then I have my massage and a photo shoot this evening. Then it is my day and a half off with my love! yay!! Love my weekends!

I just got 75 bucks for being safe on the job all year :) haha So I quickly turned around and booked a massage for Saturday!

Week 21

Hey :) I am 21 weeks pregnant and have had a handful of symptoms pop up this week. First off-heartburn! It is the first time I have had heartburn so bad to where I feel it all in my throat. Next, I have had leg cramps start to pop up...they just feel achy and weird. I still have my congestion all the time, and am having bloody gums now too. I'm so thankful to have "what to expect" to look at. Otherwise, I wouldn't think twice about these random things happening, but they are all under possible symptoms for this stage in the pregnancy. Oh and I also had a hormonal day Saturday. It is only the second time I have felt really hormonal this whole pregnancy but I was just crying for no reason and just felt like being a bum. Overall, I think Drake has been lucky overall with my hormones...so far haha Anyways, I am not complaining about any of these symptoms, just giving the update on any changes for the week. :)

Something exciting that happened this week is Drake feeling Easton for the first time :) It made me so happy to know the outside world could feel him moving now. Yesterday we stopped by my parents and I kept poking my belly until he started moving and my mom and dad were both able to feel too.

Sunday

Today was our day off together ♥ We spent most of our day out on the water kayaking :)

Then we watched some golf on TV and are just relaxing together before the start of another work week. Why do the weekends always go so fast?! :( Oh well...only one more month until summer break is at my fingertips! xoxo

Sleepover

Last night Vivian came and stayed the night with us so that her parents could have one more date night before Dean gets here :) We played outside, went for a walk to the park, she got a bath, and we read books before bed. She is such a sweet little girl and LOVED cosmo.








This morning I was up early and had to go coach two soccer games. Now I am home, eagerly awaiting Drake getting home from work later this afternoon. His store is setting a record this month for sales, so he is getting a bonus :) We are planning to take some of the money and enjoy a little vacation somewhere this summer. One more with just the two of us :) Happy Saturday!!

Week 20

Holy Week 20?! I am halfway there! Halfway home to meeting our baby boy in September! I love being pregnant! :) I am feeling him everyday and wonder what he will look like. This week was very exciting, we found out what we were having, had our gender reveal party, and then went and started our registry at Target. Most things we knew exactly what we wanted...but when you get in the aisles with diapers, bottles, wipes, etc. it was very overwhelming as to what we should scan. I also signed us up for Lamaze class that we will start in June :) My stomach has officially exploded! Look at that thing, it's crazy that I am looking at me...and not me in the motherhood store with a fake belly under my shirt. It is also crazy how fast the weeks go by and it is already time to find out what Easton is up to for the week. Well, I am off, thanks for stopping by! :)

*If you're having a boy, (I am, I am! :)) his testicles have begun their descent from the abdomen to their ultimate destination — the scrotum. And while your baby is definitely getting bigger (weighing in at about ten ounces and measuring six and a half inches), there's still plenty of growing room in there, which allows him to twist and turn (and allows you to feel his acrobatics!). Baby's digestive system is busy creating meconium (a tarry black substance made of swallowed amniotic fluid, digestive secretion and dead cells), which will fill the first diaper after birth.

thankful

Just checking in :) I had a good 3 day weekend...my dad is back home! Saturday I went to Kendall's first birthday party and then Drake and I hung at the house once he was home from work and had a movie night. We watched Megamind :) Yesterday we spent most of our time outside since it was so nice, we took Cosmo to the dog park and met up with my parents and ate at Crabs on the beach and then just sat on the beach during the evening time. So nice! Here we are at the dog park...
