Oh yea!

Day of Rest

Today was a nice Sunday...we went to church this morning and watched little Dean get baptized. After that we went to lunch with everyone at Beef O Bradys and then came home. Since then we have bummed around :) Took Coz on a walk and took naps while it was raining. ♥ Life is good.

So Summer Break feels like it is here, but I have one day left! :) What a tease to have the weekend and then have to go back for one day. I am so excited about this summer! This will be my first one since I have graduated college that I will not have to look for a job. :) I found out that my unit will still be there next year, so I will be back to teaching in an awesome program! I am so thankful.

Today was a good start to the weekend...this morning I got up and got a workout in, washed my car and took pictures to try and sell it, went and got my nails done, and got in the pool until Drake got home. Once he was home we got ready and headed out to eat at Carrabas for Rachel's birthday. It was yummy :) Happy Saturday!! ♥

Glucose Test

Ah the dreaded day-my glucose test. I know to most people I am totally weird, but my gag/throw-up issue is part of me and I can't help it :) So I went in this morning after fasting...walking in with an upset stomach due to nerves and a nauseous stomach because I was so hungry...never a good way to start. ha I got called back and they took my fasting blood and then I had to drink the glucose crap. dun dun dunnn I was shaking and some tears came out because I started to panic. I could care less about them taking my blood, I just didn't want to throw-up the drink. Anyways, I took the first small sip and realized I could do it. It was gross, but I paced myself and my mom had them get me a straw thinking it would help it go down easier. :)

Once I finished it within the 5 minute time limit, I went and waited. I felt a little yucky for the first half hour and then I was ok. After an hour went by they called me in and took more blood...and then back to wait again for another hour. After that hour I went for my 3rd blood draw and was finally done. My mom went with me so it was nice to have her to distract me. We got to sit in a back room that had a recliner so that was nice. We got delusional and could not stop giggling towards the end :) I went straight to work afterwards and felt tired and light headed most of the day but not too bad. So glad it's over!

Now onto the weekend!! :) I am headed to do a shoot soon and then will meet up with Drake when he gets off, we are going to do some car shopping. Yay! I love my car, but it is a 2 door and we are looking at some 4 door SUVs for me to get. I hope everyone has a great weekend! ♥

I just booked a 3D ultrasound at the start of next month...right after I get back from Miami with my love ♥ So many things to look forward to this summer...4 more days of work! :)

Week 26

The weeks between doing my updates just feels like it is getting faster and faster. I am loving being pregnant but I am so excited for Easton to be here in a few months and see what he looks like. When I look at my belly everyday I don't realize the change in my body that much, but then I look at these weekly pictures and it is crazy to me how much it is growing.

This week has been another smooth one (knock on wood) I think Easton is using my bladder as a pillow, I have to get up and go to the bathroom like 4 times a night. Overall besides getting up for the bathroom I am still able to get good sleep so that is nice. Oh...and something totally awesome that happened this week was peeing myself when I sneezed. :) Sadly, it has happened in weeks past...but barely anything, well this one was a full blown escape haha Luckily we were at home so I could deal with the issue, but it is still pretty embarrassing. What's up with your baby? He now weighs a full two pounds and measures about 14 inches. And this week, his eyes, which until now were developing under fused eyelids, start to open. Of course, there's not much to see in there, but if your baby spots a bright light (or hears a loud noise) near your belly, you may notice an increase in fetal activity. (“Hey, I'm in here, Mommy! Where’s the party!”) What accounts for that response? His brain is more developed and sophisticated.

Saturday

was awesome because...

♥ We started the day at the gym together and I had the best eye candy to look at while on the treadmill :)

♥ We cooled off in the pool when we got home

♥ snacked on watermelon under the pergola

♥ Took Cosmo to the dog park

♥ Went to the beach in the evening time

♥ Got home and watched a movie in bed together

We had a great day!

Welp, After work today I headed to the gym for my weekly kick boxing class. I love my classes at the gym! Last week afterwards I felt it more on my body than usual and I knew I wouldn't be able to do it my whole pregnancy but tonight was it. :( I was going at it and had to stop and go to the bathroom to put some water on my face and take a breather, I felt dizzy and sick. I was so bummed. I have a hard time realizing that my body will not work the same right now. Last night I had to shoot a wedding all evening after teaching all day and I have never been so tired. Anyways, just had to bum around about no more classes for now, I guess from here on out I will just stick to walking.

Anyways...once I got back Drake and I hopped in the pool to chill out and are getting ready for some grub. It's Friday Eve!!! ♥

Week 25

25 weeks down, 15 to go! Oh my gosh, I have 15 weeks until I will have a baby in my house?! I have yet to do anything for a nursery...I do know what I plan on doing. Summer projects will be fun :) I have felt good this past week, I don't think I have had any symptoms. I can tell that this summer will be VERY hot! Pregnant with Florida heat and oh boy the humidity.

I booked our maternity pictures...we will be taking them in July. I am excited for that!

I cannot even tell you how many Chick-Fil-A yogurt parfaits I have eaten this week. Yum! Tonight we have to do a grocery run and I plan on picking up yogurt, strawberries, and granola so that I can make my own supply. :) I think that is all for this week. ♥

Memorial day

Happy Memorial Day! Today was another hot sunny day here so we had the family over to hang out and eat lunch. We played family fued on the wii, ate lunch, and finished with a dip in the pool. It was a great afternoon with my family!
