Dear Mother Nature,

Thank you for having the heavy rain rush through this afternoon, forcing me to cancel soccer practice to come home early on a day that just happens to be one of Drake's off days. I loved every minute of wearing my warm comfy clothes to cuddle up and watch a movie with him. You are the best. :)

work hard, play harder

Today was a busy and fun day. This morning Drake was working and I was up at the school for soccer stuff. eh. Then I had a shoot scheduled for the afternoon that went well...it was at a house that was on it's own little island area, it was so peaceful and nice.

After working...it was time to play! :) We went to Jenn and Ronnie's house to eat dinner and hang out for a bit. It had been too long since we hung out. Jenn made some yummy (skinny) burgers haha

While they were on the grill, Drake and I were playing with Vivian ♥

Once we left there we stopped by my mom and dad's house to see Kylie since she will be leaving in the morning. We goofed off some more until it was past Drake's bedtime. :) I am always bummed to see Kylie go, but she will be back in 3 weeks for Christmas break! Happy Saturday!

Today was another amazing day! We spent the day over at my parent's house. When I got there Kylie had an envelope waiting on everyone and we all had to sit in the living room and open our envelopes. She had my mom write each person's name and "I am thankful for you because" and then Kylie took them and filled out why she was thankful for each of us and gave them to us today. It was the sweetest thing ever!

I love when she is in town so much!

We did catch up on our trust club minutes in our meeting today. Don't mess with the trust club :)

The brother hanging out :)

We played some horseshoes for a little bit...

and busted out the nerf guns.

We ate and ate again and played Taboo and just enjoyed hanging out together. I am so thankful that God has blessed me with my amazing husband, family, job, and life!

I also got some of our pictures today in my inbox and I was excited :) Here are a few for your viewing pleasure :)

I hope you all enjoyed a great day! xoxo

Yesterday we went to Destin for the day. We had such a wonderful day!! We started out eating a picnic lunch on the beach...

And then we went to Destin Commons and did some shopping :) We snagged some good deals on a few things...

Then we went to get a hotel room and we went to the same hotel we stayed at on our wedding night...Drake came out to the car with our room keys, and he got us the exact same room we had on our wedding night ♥ I can't believe it was 3 1/2 years ago we stayed there.

After getting in our room, we got ready to head out for the evening...

and we went to eat dinner at Joe's Crab Shack :)

I had to get a picture with the sign, because when I was younger and saw it for the first time I told my parents we needed to go back the next day for the free crab. haha

After dinner we went and played putt-putt :) This is the face of the person who got whooped by a girl :)

AND finally we headed back to the room with a few snacks to veg out with.

I had such an awesome time with Drake! Now we are back home, and I am going to get ready to go eat lots of yummy food at my parent's house! Happy Thanksgiving!!!

Life is Good

So this morning I slept in like a champ, and it was awesome :) Then I was up and took care of some cleaning around the house and then I went to my appointment. I met with the doctor and she was looking over all of my information from the specialist and what they had on me. We talked about the dysplasia, and she said that it was under my medical history but that my recent pap for her was showing NO abnormal cells or anything to worry about?! She went ahead and scheduled me another pap for next month just to confirm things are still looking good, and between now and then was going to get the paperwork from my abnormal pap I had in the past to see how they were coming up with the severe dysplasia. She said that during this time in my life, my cells are constantly changing and can sometimes fix themselves in the mild and moderate stages, but she did not know how they fixed themselves if they were in the severe stage. I know how...God :) So after all of my worry it seems like my cells look good, and I will go back in a month to confirm they are still looking good...but I could not be happier with how today went. Hopefully that all makes sense, and I am still a little confused, but that is the update on that.

After that I went over to my parents and hung out with everyone :) Drake, mom, dad, brother, and KYLIE! Nothing like an evening eating pizza, playing loaded questions, and watching Billy the Exterminator together haha

A day at the dog park :)

Running up the tree after a squirrel haha

Yesterday was my official first day of fall break! Sorry I keep mentioning it, but I have been looking forward to my first break so much, now that I am back to teaching and get the amazing schedule. Drake was working, so during the day I was at the house hanging out with cosmo ♥ and just happened to throw in a little shopping on etsy. haha I came across these glass necklace charms that were on sale...buy 2 get a 3rd free. So I ordered 3 new charms to wear :) This is the 1st one...I love branchy trees...that is the design on our shower curtain in the guest bathroom, and I also have a vinyl design on a wall that has tree branches coming out. I couldn't even tell you why I like them so much, but I do.

Then I got this simple black and white one, that will go with just about anything.

And of course I threw in the pin-up girl one just for fun :) Love it!

Then in the afternoon I had a family photo shoot. I was a little nervous knowing I was shooting 10 people, including 2 kids...but it went really well. They were a great family!

Finally, after the shoot Drake got home and we decided to head in town. We stopped by the mall and went to see my grandma.

Yesterday was a good day :)

So the last time I talked about fertility I told you that Drake and I were taking a couple months off from the specialist, just to pay off what we had done so far and then would go a little longer, pay that off, ect. ect... Well the last time we went I had my endometrial biopsy and set up an appointment to see the results and set up our treatment plan. I had to cancel due to getting my new job and not being able to take off right away. Long story short, I forgot about checking on my endometrial biopsy results so my mom called the office and had them send it to me.

Last night when I got home from our soccer game, I see that I had mail from the specialist. I open it and read a bunch of stuff that makes no sense and turn on the computer to start researching. They diagnosed me with severe dysplasia. (Cervical dysplasia is a term used to describe the appearance of abnormal cells on the surface of the cervix, the lowest part of the uterus. These changes in cervical tissue are classified as mild, moderate, or severe. While dysplasia itself does not cause health problems, it is considered to be a precancerous condition. Left untreated, dysplasia sometimes progresses to an early form of cancer known as cervical carcinoma in situ, and eventually to invasive cervical cancer.)The fact that it is severe is the part that scares me. I now have an appointment to see the doctor on Tuesday to see my options. They obvioulsy have to go in and get rid of the bad cells and see how bad it is. They do this by freezing, burning, or cutting them out.

I have no idea what to think right now. It just came out of left field for me. I am glad that they did find it and I can take care of it, and hopefully can get pregnant after that. It just freaks me out to start having any kind of health issues...my mom was healthy and started having health problems in her 20s and now deals with so much and it scares me. If any of you have any insight about this, that would be awesome! Have a good weekend!! xoxo
