Ottstoberfest

Last night was Ottstoberfest at Jenn and Ronnie's house. Costumes, food, flip cup, giant jenga, trampoline jumping, and fun with my hubby and best friends. :)
The weekend went WAY to fast!

Sweet Season Farm

Today was such a beautiful day outside. The first half of the day was getting my productivity out of the way. I got up and ran 8 miles and then we all headed to the grocery store. Once we were back and Easton napped, we were off to Sweet Season Farm to hang out for the afternoon.

Easton was loving the big dirt mounds. He climbed up and down them for a while. :)
Then we walked over to the miniature maze they had.
Hmmm...should I go left or right??

roller coasters

It's fall...it's the weekend...life is good! :) Wish I could have felt this way Thursday. I was just having one of those days, nothing specific went wrong or happened to make me mad, I was just in a mood. Just the aggravation from feeling like there are not enough hours in the day. It's the end of the 9 weeks at school meaning grades are due and it is hectic, I have overbooked myself with photography lately and am trying to edit in the evenings once Easton is asleep so I don't get behind, continuing to run with Carissa to train for the half and since we are closer to the race our distance keeps going up meaning it's just that much more time away, and the house is a constant mess...oh and not to mention I would like to try and be a good mom and wife in there as well. Yea, you get the point, and I know we all have those days, it just hit me like a ton of bricks the other day, and I'm glad it came and went.

So...I decided to kick my funk yesterday by starting my day with yummy breakfast and after another long day at work I was ready to be with my boys and family for the evening.
We went to the fair! :) Easton was a little unsure about all of the crazy loud rides, but he did ride the elephants and the carousal. We met up with my parents, brother and Rose, and Kylie! :) I think I got to talk to Kylie for .4 seconds. She had her wristband and went from one ride to the next all night. I love to see her enjoying herself.  After a few rides, looking at lights, and trying some cotton candy, Easton was out!
I'm looking forward to a good weekend! ♥

sore feet

Hey guys! This weekend was very busy...Friday I photographed that wedding all evening and night which is very tiring but I pushed through knowing the rest of my weekend would be fun. :) Saturday morning I was up and on the go to help with Rachel's baby shower. Baby Grace will be here any day now! It's crazy to think about when our gang started hanging out that Kaylee was the only kid in the group. Now a few years later, we will soon have 7 kids at our hang outs. Crazy. The shower went well and I know we are all excited to meet Grace soon!
After I left the shower I went and got Easton. (My parents kept him while I was gone since Drake had to work another stinkin Saturday) We hung out for the afternoon, riding in his wagon down to the park and playing around the house. He cracks me up! One of his new things is doing his chores around the house. haha He picks up after himself and he also throws his diaper away in the genie after we change him. :) We will change him and get his diaper wrapped up and hand it to him, telling him to put it in the garbage. He takes off down the hallway to his room and straight to the genie to throw it away.
Last night I went downtown with Meghan and Heather. Meghan and her husband leave Wednesday to move to England, so we all hung out one more time. We ate dinner at global grill and stopped by World of Beer and Seville before calling it a night. It was a fun time!
Today was our family day ♥ We took Easton in town to the park and played on the soccer fields and let Easton swing for a while. Check out these skills :)
Love this sweet face.

Since we were in town, Uncle Kyle came over to see us too! Easton was showing him his sweet moves. (Kathryn-he worked on his fake kicks too :))

Finally after that I met up with Carissa and we did our run for today. We are still working towards our half marathon on November 11th. We ran and then treated ourselves to smoothie king after. A smoothie has never tasted so good. :) So, after being on my feet working Friday, in heels dancing Saturday, and running 7 miles today...my feet want to fall off. :) I hope you all had a good weekend! Time for another work week. Womp womp womp

Red bull and running around

It has been a fun but very busy week at work. Yesterday I took my TV Production kids to the Florida Scholastic Press Association district 1 workshop so that we can go to state in April and compete. This is our schools first time ever going and I was excited to take them.

While we were there all of the advisors go and have a meeting and while we were in it, they chose me as the district's Journalism teacher of the year! :) I was so excited.
It was a great day outside of the normal school day with my kids...once we finished we high tailed it back to school for our pep rally and other homecoming activities. So today we only had to work half a day but I am off to go shoot a wedding all afternoon/evening. Busy busy! But tomorrow starts an awesome weekend! xoxo

Proud

I love my job. I love that I get the opportunity to interact with kids everyday and hopefully be a positive role model in their lives. Today I was a proud momma. It is homecoming week and today was the homecoming assembly where the nominees get recognized before everyone votes on the queen. Four of my TV Production girls were on the court...
AND one of my girls asked one of my students with special needs to be her escort. :) It was the sweetest thing ever, and so awesome to watch them today. He was SO happy and I am so thankful for girls like her who love those with special needs instead of just ignoring them like so many people do.
It was a good day. ♥

Our Weekend

Hey! Happy Monday...ugh...Mondays. To distract myself from the fact that it's another work week, let's do a recap of the weekend! :) Saturday Drake had to work so I spent the day with my boy. We went up the road to the park for a while and Easton loved walking around and attempting to eat acorns the whole time.
He LOVES his swing time :)

Once we got back home I decided to bust out his pool to cool off. Of course 90% of his time was spent outside the pool in the water hose.

Yesterday was a great day as a family. We went to the local peanut festival that was going on and walked around and had some fun. Of course this was Easton's favorite part...walking up and down this one hill over and over again. :) He would get to the top, turn around and go down and up  the other side, turn around and repeat. haha

Playing hide and seek ;)
Riding the train...

Silly boys

It was a good weekend overall! Now it's onto a busy work week, it's homecoming week and I am taking my TV Production kids to a district workshop Thursday. If I can just get rid of this cold I managed to get that would be awesome. xoxo
