update

You know those "First kid, second kid" commercials on TV. That's how I feel right about now. I posted I was pregnant and then a few weeks later, here we are...all is good! :) I just hate that I can't post like I used to. With Easton, I was on with a picture of my belly every stinkin week starting at week 5. haha Now, here I am 10 weeks with this pregnancy and I have had time to post the ultrasound picture. We are SO excited about baby Wade #2! I just have work and then with the added coaching in the evenings right now (I am posting right now because practice was cancelled today, otherwise who knows when it would be) and then hang out with daddy and Easton, get everything packed for the next day and repeat.

I will get a belly pic soon...and on that note, I am amazed at how much quicker your belly starts popping the second time around. I ordered a crib last night and am excited to do the nursery. We are actually planning to add barn doors to our dining room and convert that into a nursery so that we do not have to get rid of our guest room.

Other than the busy weekdays, we have been doing soccer on the weekends. Easton had 3 goals a few weeks ago and then 3 more last Saturday! Here are a couple videos from my phone...this one it gets taken away, but I am just so proud of his little confidence this season :) I wish I had a video to show you from last year of him running away from the ball scared...it was bad. It's been so fun to watch him feel so proud :)

And here is one of his goals :)

We also had Millie's birthday party last weekend which was a lot of fun.

The weekends are my sanity more than ever with so much going on lately during the week. But, things are getting better at work with our transition to our new class and golf season will be over in a couple weeks which means I will have some more time for other things again.
I can't believe it's about to be October! We have a handful of fun things coming up this month to look forward to. :) Looking forward to a fun fall!

Disney and Doctor

Disney was awesome! I kind of wish we would have planned to come back and then have one day to recover before jumping back into busy work mode, but it was a great trip! Wednesday we took our time getting there and just got all checked in and hung out by the pool that night. We were up early for Easton's 4th birthday! His actual birthday was spent at "Mickey's house" Our very first ride was splash mountain. Go big or go home :) Easton was not sure about it and then after the big fall at the end he had this face of pure fear mixed with pure excitement. :) Later he said his favorite ride was the big splash, so I asked if he wanted to do it again, but he quickly replied no. Oh and his go-to phrase for the trip was, "How cool is that?!"
My parents were brave enough to join us for the craziness, I'm glad they got to be with us to celebrate.

We rode a lot of rides and then went back to the hotel to rest and shower before heading back out for round 2. We had dinner at Chef Mickeys...it was a highlight of the trip for sure. We ate while the characters all came to our table to see Easton, sign his autograph book and take pictures. He LOVED Mickey!

He was so excited, but would be so shy when they came by. But the characters made sure to warm Easton up :)
After dinner we were back at the park for the night. I hope Easton had a great birthday!

The next day was the Animal Kingdom mixed with hanging out at the pool some more. We stayed at the Pop Century Resort, in the 50s section, it was cute.

The last day was Hollywood Studios, again another fun day! Easton loved the stunt car show the most there. I am so happy that even though it was hot, we avoided the rain until the last night! Easton got to meet so many characters and pick out some new toys with birthday money.
That night we went to Mickey's backyard BBQ dinner show...I took videos there. Easton was dancing with the characters :) I am so thankful we were able to take such a fun trip to celebrate Easton! We drove home all day Sunday and quickly got ready for the work week.

BUT...even though it was a Monday, we had fall weather roll in here and got to see the baby! ♥ Heartbeat was good, I was measuring 8 weeks 3 days, exactly what I should. I discussed with my (new) doctor how awful my last experience was and that I really want to try for a vbac with this one. He was supportive for my plan, and of course did tell me the couple reasons that could come up that could lead to c-section again, but I am just praying it all works out.

school and soccer

Happy Labor Day Weekend! So, to give some details about my last post...we are pregnant! :) I am only 7 weeks right now, but I am not one of those people who can wait to share the news, I was too excited! I am still in shock a little. When it takes so long to get pregnant the first time around, I just kind of mentally prepared that it could be the same this time around, knowing deep down that I was hoping it would happen soon because I didn't want Easton too much older before we found out. So, after 3 months of just seeing what would happen, it was official :) It will be perfect for my work, I will have the baby in late April, allowing me to take maternity leave straight into my summer break! Easton seems to be excited, just still figuring it out. He says that he wants a brother, but he thinks it's a sister. :) I am so excited to see him with the baby when the time comes!

So, since summer has ended, I haven't had much time to hop on and update. I love love love my TV kids this year, they are so excited to be there everyday and are producing some awesome commercials already. Let's just say after 1st period, I have to take some deep breaths on my way to my other classroom and pray for patience and guidance. I have been dealt a big challenge this year. It's been a hard transition, especially after having it so good the past several years. But, I just have to trust God put me in that room for a reason and he will use this to my advantage when the time is right.

After I am done with the school day, I am coaching golf. That has been really fun. The girls are great and I get paid to go out and play golf with them :) It is just mainly time consuming, especially on match days. Anyways, I am thankful for this 3 day weekend to catch my breath, BUT I go back tomorrow for 1 day of work and then Wednesday morning we head out to "Mickey's House!" Easton will be 4 on Thursday and we get to spend his actual birthday at the Magic Kingdom. I am so excited for this trip and can't wait to share the details when we get back.

This weekend has been good, we had our first pep rally. Easton liked seeing the Panthers, but he LOVED giving the football players high fives as they marched out and walked around the gym. He is obsessed with football!!
Saturday he had his first soccer game of the season. Of course last year he got slammed in the mouth and ran away from the ball after that, so we were excited that he forgot about that and ran after the ball!
It was more of a jog, and he is still very aware and cautious about his surroundings, but he was more aggressive and...

got his first ever goal!!!! :) Here is the moment it happened, luckily Pop stayed focused in capturing it, I was too excited watching him dribble down to do anything.
He was so proud of himself. It was awesome. He ran over to Drake and gave him a high five and was just beaming. It's going to be a fun season.
Saturday night we had a quick date night while Easton played with some friends. We grabbed dinner and watched football at Buffalo Wild Wings.
Well, we are headed in town to take Easton to the park. Then it will be cleaning up and packing! Have a good week!
